At Killeen Autism Center, LLC, we design individualized programs that are based on the latest scientific research. They are tailored to each child's specific needs and can include treatment for language delays, social skills delays, and problem behaviors such as non-compliance, aggression, self-injury, and stereotypy.
Assessments and Evaluations
Verbal behavior assessments such as Assessment of Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R) and/or Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB MAPP) are used to determine your child's skill level. Functional behavior assessments are conducted and behavior intervention plans (BIP) are developed to address any serious behavior issues your child may be exhibiting.
Individual lesson plans are developed for your child based on the results from the ABLLS-R or VBMAPP. Skill acquisition is tracked to insure that instruction moves at an appropriate pace. These sessions incorporate natural environment training and intensive teaching trials.
In Home Programs
Killeen Autism Center, LLC understands the importance of skill acquisition and generalization to other people and settings. We offer training in the home to ensure your child's success.
